Screen

MM_KurinScreen_01a: the screen part of a TV, monitor, display or billboard.

Setup

  1. Give the screen its own material slot; the rest of the mesh keeps MM_KurinAsset_01a.
  2. Unwrap the screen polygons to fill 0..1 in TexCoord 0.
  3. Screen Content: assign Screen Image (sRGB on, Default compression).

Tips

  • Use Exposure Compensation? (group Screen) keeps the brightness steady when auto exposure changes.
  • Start frame, glitch and flicker are random per object, so identical TVs never play in sync, instanced ones too.
  • No Parallax, Fuzzy Shading or Dust here, so the screen surface stays cheap.
